Ellie Fund Now

Ellie Fund Now is a campaign to raise our $500,000 operational gap between loss of fundraising revenues and the expected increase in need for patient services throughout 2020.

Due to the repercussions of COVID-19, individuals with breast cancer and their families are facing compounded stress — financial, emotional, and treatment-related — which means more patients need Ellie Fund services.

Ellie Fund relies completely on philanthropy to operate and provide for our patients. Like many non-profit organizations at this time, Ellie Fund is facing unprecedented shortfalls in fundraising as our signature events are cancelled, student groups are not able to organize, and our local business partners struggle to get back on their feet.

Keeping true to our mission, as economic pressures mount on those with breast cancer, Ellie Fund will be here to support patients and be part of their community during treatment. When the COVID-19 pandemic subsides, Massachusetts will continue to diagnose 7,000 new breast cancer cases annually. Our goal is to serve as many of these patients as we can.

Careful planning by our board has enabled us to weather this current storm. We must continue to be financially stable because there is always another challenge ahead and breast cancer is not going away.

Can you and your family or your company help us reach Ellie Fund Now’s goal of $500,000?

We have never declined a new patient and need your help to ensure we never will.
