“When you go through cancer, it can put a lot of financial burden on you and your family. In my case, I couldn’t work during chemo because I have such an active job teaching Pilates and I had to pull my daughter from daycare (and still pay for it!). I didn’t think I was eligible for a grant through the Ellie Fund because my husband and I both had good-paying jobs – but it turns out Ellie helps EVERYONE. They helped me pay for daycare and sent us grocery cards that were so so helpful to our family. They helped us be able to focus on my battle and healing rather finances.
