October is Breast Cancer ACTION Month

We turn awareness into impact with our October for Ellie campaign. All month long, retail stores, spas/salons, restaurants, police & fire departments, businesses, sports teams, and individuals all across the Commonwealth are teaming up to support local breast cancer patients. Join the action!

How to Participate

If your business or group would like to partner with Ellie Fund this October to support breast cancer patients and their families, please contact: Sarah Burke sarah@elliefund.org.

Ways to participate include:

  • Decorate your storefront pink with themed merchandise and in-store displays
  • Direct sales of pink clothing, pink flowers, pink nails, etc.
  • Offer Ellie Fund bracelets and/or pens for a suggested donation
  • Display our poster with the QR code in store windows
  • Distribute Ellie Fund’s patient awareness cards
  • Donate a percentage of October sales for a designated day, weekend, or THE MONTH!
  • Offer customers to “Round Up” at checkout
  • Police & Fire Departments – sell PINK PATCHES
  • Sweat Pink: for fitness classes in October, registration fees benefit Ellie Fund
  • Restaurants! Offer a % of sales from pink mocktails, menu items, and/or desserts

Please note: we cannot accept % of sales from alcohol or cannabis.

Volunteer

There are so many ways to get involved:

  • Volunteer at events like harvest fairs, school fundraisers, and community gatherings. Opportunities like these will be emailed to you as the need for help arises.
  • Encourage local businesses to support our mission! Through donation drives, proceeds nights, or creative ideas like pink-themed products, we rely on volunteers to encourage businesses in their community.
  • Take it a step further and Turn Your Town Pink—or even just your favorite spots! You don’t need to take over the whole town; start with places that matter to you—your gym, coffee shop, salon, or school. We have materials and toolkits to help!
